The steps
- Check eligibility for FSWP, CEC or FST.
- Language test — CELPIP General (IRCC-designated) at CLB 7+.
- ECA (credential assessment) for foreign education.
- Create an Express Entry profile and get your CRS score.
- Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in a draw.
- Submit the e-APR with medical, police and financial proof.
- PR granted (target ~6 months from ITA).

Timeline
Express Entry has a public service standard of about six months from invitation to decision. Provincial Nominee routes add time for the provincial stage.
