CELPIP General is a fully computer-delivered test of everyday English, scored on the 1–12 CELPIP scale that maps 1:1 to the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB).

CELPIP General is accepted by IRCC for Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) and Canadian citizenship.
CELPIP General has been accepted by Australia's Department of Home Affairs (DHA) for visas since 7 August 2025.
MET is accepted for Australian visas but is NOT accepted by IRCC for Canadian immigration. Choose your test by destination.
